The Hesston College Aviation Department announces that Tyler Beachy of Hutchinson, Kan., is the latest student pilot to earn his private pilot license on Feb. 17.
Beachy is a freshman in Hesston’s aviation program. He is the son of Steven and Marcia Beachy of Hutchinson. With his/her latest accomplishment, Beachy will begin work on the instrument rating.
Hesston College offers flight training and air traffic control programs. Flight training holds FAA certification in single-engine land Private Pilot, Commercial Pilot and Instrument Rating courses, as well as fixed-wing private pilot through airline transport pilot certifications.
