Menno Beachy of Springs Pennsylvania developed a Apple Butter recipe that required no added sugar. Menno was told apple butter with no added sugar would not be good. He proved otherwise. Menno has since sold the business to Willis Sommers a long time employ and well experienced in the apple butter making business. It is still operated under Menno's father's name, Sam Beachy & Sons.
