Vern Beachy


Vern, a former radio news director and TV assigment editor and award-winning journalist. Vern has a Blog site where he comments on current news, both religion and politics, the two things we were always told not to discuss. As I read his daily Raves I can tell he has his head fastened on right.

Christopher K. Beachy Ph.D


Dr. Beachy has a B.A. from the College of Wooster (1986) and an M.S. from Western Carolina University (1988). His Ph.D. is from the University of Louisiana, Lafayette which was awarded in 1992. After completing his doctorate, he spent one year doing postdoctoral research at the Highlands Biological Station in North Carolina followed by a one-year sabbatical teaching replacement at Jamestown College in North Dakota. He arrived at Minot State University in Fall 1998 after having taught for four years at Clarke College in Dubuque, Iowa.

World's Largest Truck



Glen and Melba Beachy toured one of the several open pit coal mines in B.C. Canada.
The coal is shipped by rail to the coast where it is loaded on ships for the oversea's market.
Huge trucks like the one in the picture, have been replaced with smaller trucks, that are still very BIG. Sometimes bigger is not always better

Beachy News Will Include Peachey News

In 1767 Peter (Bitsche) Beachy came to America from Switzerland. He had three sons Peter, Abraham, and Moses. Two of the sons Peter and Abraham and their descendents go by the name Beachy. Moses and his descendents go by the name Peachey.
When ever Peachey news becomes available it will be posted along with Beachy news.

Dion & Naty Peachey


Dion and Naty began a two-year term as RMM missionaries in February 2005. They are working to plant house churches among the Hispanic population of their neighborhood on the west side of Columbus.
