Vern, a former radio news director and TV assigment editor and award-winning journalist. Vern has a Blog site where he comments on current news, both religion and politics, the two things we were always told not to discuss. As I read his daily Raves I can tell he has his head fastened on right.

Dr. Beachy has a B.A. from the College of Wooster (1986) and an M.S. from Western Carolina University (1988). His Ph.D. is from the University of Louisiana, Lafayette which was awarded in 1992. After completing his doctorate, he spent one year doing postdoctoral research at the Highlands Biological Station in North Carolina followed by a one-year sabbatical teaching replacement at Jamestown College in North Dakota. He arrived at Minot State University in Fall 1998 after having taught for four years at Clarke College in Dubuque, Iowa.

Glen and Melba Beachy toured one of the several open pit coal mines in B.C. Canada.
The coal is shipped by rail to the coast where it is loaded on ships for the oversea's market.
Huge trucks like the one in the picture, have been replaced with smaller trucks, that are still very BIG. Sometimes bigger is not always better

Dion and Naty began a two-year term as RMM missionaries in February 2005. They are working to plant house churches among the Hispanic population of their neighborhood on the west side of Columbus. They are making plans to go to South America in 2007 as RMM missionaries. "May God Blessings go with you" (Keep in touch)
