Catch & Release, Larry & Mike Beachy

At long last catch-and-release fishing will be coming to Indiana, a move that could provide anglers with quality, year-round trout angling. Dr. Larry Beachy of Goshen, a long-time trout angler and one-time holder of the state-record brown trout, noted that catch-and-release offered "a chance to make trout fishing in Indiana on the level with our northern neighbors."
Mike Beachy, president of the Little Elkhart Chapter of Trout Unlimited, noted that Middlebury TU chapter plans to make stream improvements to boost the quality of the water and the aquatic habitat on the Little Elkhart catch-and-release stretch.
