The 136th annual Troy Fair kicked off on Monday, with one of the main attractions being the rodeo.It starts with the bull settling, the announcer screaming your name, and then the gates opening. It's all for a few seconds, for one crazy ride.
"It's fun having a good crowd. It makes the bull riding a lot of fun when you have a crowd that's really alive, cheering for you and supporting you,” says professional JAY BEACHEY. The Wooster post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol says Jonas Schlabach, 32, of Wilmot, was driving the buggy westbound on U.S. 250 in Paint Township, when the car driven by Toby Beachy, 24, of Dundee, rammed into the rear of it.
Schlabach and his five-year-old son, John, were thrown from the buggy.
Schlabach is listed in serious condition in the intensive care unit at Aultman Hospital in Canton. The horse was euthanized. Posted July 28, 2011 WMFD.com
