Sam's Endless Tread

 
Samuel Beachy of Salisbury PA designed this garden tractor in 1942. In the 1950's, along with his sons Menno and Alvin, they started manufacturing this unique machine. The Mountain Anthems

 

The Mountain Anthems Chorus hails from Allegheny Mountains in Somerset County, Pennsylvania and Garrnet county Maryland, nestled at an altitude of over 3,000 feet. The chorus members come basically from one church, The Mountian View Mennonite Church, Saisbury, PA. In the mid 1950's The Mountian View Youth Group asked Menno Beachy to teach them basic rudiments in music, and shaped notes. They have never looked back. Tim Beachy

Tim Beachy is a photo realistic artist whose love of animals can clearly be seen in each one of his portraits. Creating with pencil, pastel and watercolor enables him to capture the true spirit and life of every one of his subjects.
Tim curently resides in Perryopolis, Pennsylvania with his wife Heather, their three French Bulldogs- Wubby, Petunia and Touchel! and Gershwin (who will be 13 years old in May of 2005). Tim is a member of the Pittsburgh Center of the Arts and the Pittsburgh Society of Illustrators and has participated in their juried shows. His commissioned portraits can be found in private collections in Pennsylvania, New Jersy, Ohio and Virginia
