Jay Beachey Professional Bull Rider


The 136th annual Troy Fair kicked off on Monday, with one of the main attractions being the rodeo.It starts with the bull settling, the announcer screaming your name, and then the gates opening. It's all for a few seconds, for one crazy ride.
"It's fun having a good crowd. It makes the bull riding a lot of fun when you have a crowd that's really alive, cheering for you and supporting you,” says professional JAY BEACHEY. Toby Beachy Dundee OH


The Wooster post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol says Jonas Schlabach, 32, of Wilmot, was driving the buggy westbound on U.S. 250 in Paint Township, when the car driven by Toby Beachy, 24, of Dundee, rammed into the rear of it.
Schlabach and his five-year-old son, John, were thrown from the buggy.
Schlabach is listed in serious condition in the intensive care unit at Aultman Hospital in Canton. The horse was euthanized. Posted July 28, 2011 WMFD.com

Melvin, Craig, Dave, in the Beachy Halibut hall of Fame. (names top to bottom)




Three Beachy men that have caught Halibut over two hundred pounds. Dave and Melvin caught their prize Halibut in Alaska Craig caught his off the west coast of the Queen Charlotte Islands. Melvin Beachy 1922 - 2010 lived in Anchorage Alaska, his family still lives there. Craig Beachy lives on the Queen Charlotte with his family. Dave Beachy lives in Florida, Beachy Properties. Any other Beachy names that should be in the 200 pound plus Halibut Hall of Fame? Let me know, include picture.

Stephen C. Beachy Central Park

The KIDFISH Foundation and Hooked on Chevy is making family time a little more interesting. Stephen C. Beachy Central Park Pond in College Station was packed with families trying to catch a big fish.
The pond was stocked with 400 pounds of catfish and plenty of stink bait to go around. KIDFISH encourages all parents and children to get out of the house and hang out with each other.
"Families aren't spending the quality time together and we want to provide an approtunity for them to spend time together at no cost. They can come on out and get here and just have a fun day." says JP Brazeal, President of KIDFISh
Central Park was renamed Stephen C. Beachy Central Park in honor of the city's first Parks and Recreation Director.

Krista Beechy's Boot Camp


BERLIN -- From former teammates trying to stay in playing shape in the offseason, to people just trying to get physically fit, Krista Beechy's boot camp will whip them into shape. She even has her mother doing it.
"And I feel better than I have in years," says Beth Beechy of Winesburg. "A year ago, I hated the thought of getting up and going to boot camp, but now I really look forward to it."
Krista Beechy is an American Council on Exercise (ACE) certified and PARISI certified athletic personal trainer. The 2006 Hiland High School graduate was a member of two state championship basketball teams at Hiland and played four years at Grove City College, where she earned her bachelor's degree in business management. Mier says you shouldn’t miss the one-third replica of the Gelatine airship that famed pilot Lincoln Beachey flew into Pearson Field in 1905. Beachey, whom Orville Wright called “the greatest flier of all” was carrying mail on that day
