Craig Beachy Port Clements BC

Craig with wife Colleen and grandson Austin, shown here with a 214 pound Halibut he caught June 6/09 off the west coast of the Queen Charlotte Islands. Fish was hooked in 300 feet water. Swells were running between 4 and 5 feet. After being harpooned the fish dove to two hundred feet taking the Scotsman (inflatable float) with it. Before long it was brought aboard. It measured six feet two inches in length. Three Chinook Salmon were caught as well the same day. Out side of some sea sickness on board it was successful day of fishing.
