Colleen Beachy 53 Lb Halibut

Port Clements British Columbia, Colleen caught this 53 pound Halibut the weekend of June 12, 2010. On the same fishing trip they caught two different kinds of Salmon, besides this big Halibut. Fishing was good, weather was cold, windy and pouring rain. Last year Colleen's husband Craig caught a 214 pound Halibut in the same area. A picture of Craig, Colleen and the Halibut was posted on this site at that time, it is still there if you want to look back for it.

Eli Beachy and sons David and Austin

This picture taken second week in June 2010, Queen Charlotte Islands British Columbia Canada.
Eli Beachy and his sons David and Austin are looking at a Fawn that is pretending to be hiding, or at least remaining motionless. This is pretty well their only defense when they are so tiny. I have been told they are odorless at this age as well. Thanks for sharing the picture.
