If there were one area the Loveland High School boys' soccer team struggled in this year, it was getting off to a slow start. Tyler Beachy, who was named FAVC-East Player of the Year, tied for fourth in the league in goals with 12, while his brother, junior midfielder Matt Beachy, was tied for ninth with nine. New London - When Larisa Beachy was arrested last week in Manhattan for refusing to stop videotaping a public meeting, she was worried what her grandparents back in New London would think. >Golden Firefighter Trent Beachy is back in Colorado after breaking his neck during a trip to the Midwest over Thanksgiving weekend. Beachy and two other people were injured when his pick up truck veered off the highway in Iowa.<

Thanks to head coach Mike Beachy and the administration at Carlisle, Taylor Sullivan, a defensive specialist for the Thundering Herd, was able to organize the “Play for Pink” night to support the fight and bring awareness to breast cancer. “We have to thank CV for participating. It was a really successful night. We had a great crowd, a great cause and it was a great night for volleyball.” The mothers of players sold baked goods and food to raise money. Choosing a college and major can be stressful for high school students, especially if they`re not positive what they want to be when they grow up. But, a career fair at the University of Mary today let high school students explore their options
Will Beachey from the respiratory therapy program showed students what a healthy lung compared to a smoker`s lung looks like and how the two function differently.Beachey said, "One thing that respiratory therapists do is we get into smoking cessation, and we try to, especially with high school population, teach them about the hazards of smoking and this is kind of a graphic demonstration of that." Daniel Beachy First to Arrive

"Daniel came through eight years ago and couldn't quite forget it," she said. "He liked the country. We saw the opportunity to have our own business." The bakery provides a living for a small community of Amish families that moved to this area four years ago. The Yoders are one of 11 families that now reside in the bordering counties of Summers and Monroe.
