Mike Beachy with two Hog Walleyes

The Walleyes are very predictable in their spawning
habits and will run almost by the calendar dates year after year.
Mike has developed a technique and jig that is a great minnow look
alike. When the Walleyes come upstream from Lake Erie, Mike is there
using his fishing skills. If the Indiana weather drops below 27 - 28 degrees
Mike can't fish as the eyes on the rod freeze up. Many times he is
the only fisherman at night because of the weather conditions and the
difficulty to fish the river. The walleye is a form of a Pike and part
of the perch family. Excellent eating fish and ranks at the top of
fresh water fish for the table.
