— CUMBERLAND - Following the deadly bridge collapse in Minneapolis late Wednesday afternoon, bridge safety was on the minds of many government officials Thursday morning. Our bridges are inspected every two years under federal law and that is coordinated through County Engineer Kevin Beachy. We get the inspection reports and are contacted if there are any problems.
